I've got em in mine, and its Inferno! I only know of another inferno with recaros that was in chelmsford. FYI The Recaros in the Clio are exactly the same type of seat as found in the Aston Martin Vanquish. I had a look the other day.

I really don't know mate, just that I heard something on here that said putting smaller springs onto the stock dampers does something to them, maybe it was a load of bullshit as plenty of people seem to be doing it.

The second ones look quite good, but the red parts look more like the phase 1 172 rear lights.

I don't know all that much about tyres, but if I wasn't getting PE2s I would definately get the F1s. The F1's will wear quicker than the PE2s though.

Cat A cars have to be crushed, and Cat B cars can only have the parts sold from them, so it seems very unlikely that you will be able to buy the car from him if its either of these.

Briefly: Category A - Must be crushed. All of it. Category B - Vehicle may not be returned to road. Parts may be sold. Category C - Repairable. Possibly structural damage. Cost of damage (at dealer prices and labour rates) is more than book value of vehicle. Category D - Repairable...

I thought that the law was that Cat B cars could not be put back onto the road? It was only Cat C & D that could be repaired and put back on the road.

I agree too, almost impossible to get a good 0-60 time when its not perfectly dry. Had a nasty experience with 2nd once, put my foot down when the roads were slippery, wheel spin, then the back shot round!!!! WTF! I was only going around 15-20mph ESP did crap all, good job I caught it...

Tell me about it! Pretty much sorted now though so I'm a happy bunny now. Took 3 weeks to repair, but I imagine in Dans case it will be a bit longer due to the rear quarter panel damage.

Thats so harsh about the car mate. I had an incident not long ago with similar damage. If you want to know how much it cost I can send you the estimate sheet I have, it includes costs and everything along those lines.
