Its possible that you may get away with it, but i've always primered to get a better finish. Primer leave for 24 Hours & then 1200 Wet and dry before paint FTW!

AFAIK Mate it depends on what colour it's sprayed at the moment. IE if its sprayed Black and you need it silver you're best primering it again. When you're prepping it, if im correct just rub it down enough to break the laquer so that the primer has something to key to.

The pipework is 2" Bore on the ashley exhaust..... Does this match the standard clio pipework on the 172 or does anyone know the bore of the standard pipework? Thanks
