Blueray is selling at a rate of 2:1 right now, so yes it appears to be taking the lead...quite an achievement given the relative expense of BD players over HD-DVD, and the poor sales (so far) of the PS3.

I've got Norton Superduper Sky+ Optimiser V5.2 installed on mine, came free with Bareback XII. It will work fine. You'll need a plug convertor or even better a UK kettle lead (same as your PC uses). The PS3 will sort out the outputting issue, but unless you're running a 1950's TV it will work at 60hz anyway, so matters not. Get one, superb piece of kit :D

Lies... Nothing is region coded (currently). His only problem will be it would only play Region 1 (American) DVDs. All Blue-Ray/HD/Games will play fine though.
