I think it would take a fare bit of tuning to get it to 200 hp and then they have to think about mpg, noise levels, emissions etc. :(

I think ppl who want a car with all the kit in it will be put off having to pay extra to add them to a basic car (Cup) And might just be put them off a Clio all together and buy a car with the kit as standard. If you know what i mean???

My Cup would beat a standard mark 1 172 will little bother straight line and corners, 0-60 30-70 and 0-100. MAC I live in Dunfermline so if you want to meet up let me know.

Seeing that makes me mad for you, and I aint just saying this if i ever saw anyone doing that to anyones car id make sure they got done. If it was mine on my driveway I would give them a good going over (and most likely get charged for it, but it would be worth it)

How often does it happen? Does it happen on Friday/Satruday nights when the neds are coming back from the pub? Or does it happen during the day (when kids are coming home from school)?

My dad has the 210 hp version and trust me on the road it will beat a mark 1 172 with little hassle. You may look at 0-60 times etc and think your car is quicker but on the road pull up next to it @ 20 and race to 110 and you will get toasted. If your into 0-60s keep the 172.

I took out a 9500 loan for my Cup and pay back £260 a month for 3 years. 7.4 % APR, going to save up tho and pay it off end of next year.

No just driven them both and had side by side comparisons, my Cup does pull harder lower down that Ps

The Cup engine does seem to pull better low down than the 172 engine I have found tho.

LOL KDF they have half leather and air con thats it m8 no other toys. I aint talking about the features tho im talking about age, condition, mileage and warrenty. Just puzzels me why mark 1s still pull such a big price for their age, lets hope when Renault stop making the mark 2 172 and Cup it...

Really makes me laugh the price mark 1 owners ask for their cars! If a 02 Cup is 9500 why are 3 year old mark 1s going for 8000-8500! Dont make sense to me! They should be worth about 6 k if a 02 Cup is 9500...
