well thats that idea up the swanny !! What about a cardboard tube !! you know the ones that have those plastic caps at each end. THE HEAT WRAP YOU CAN GET FROM MOST TUNING PLACES !! Demon tweeks and such like !! Dual purpose then looks tidy and keeps the heat out the engine bay !!

MOST PEOPLE DONT CHROME THEM. They are polished back to the metal under that plastic coating. You can either spend hours polishing it or get it sand blasted which save you a hell of a lot of time.
