I went through my own insurance first who took the car away and a week later came back saying you've got such and such mods done to your car. I argued with them about it but i had no car and had to do something, i was then told by a family friend to phone up his insurance and say i want to claim...
Yeah... they asked me if i wanted a standard exhaust and bumper putting back on as i had aftermarket and i said nah i'd like the aftermarket mods and they did just that
Re: IF
Get in the local pages and see if theres any bodystylers around that do show cars etc... But as said bodykits are a thing of the past (i'll put it nicely dave ;) )
Was going to say thats no write off... Re-weld a new boot floor in there and you'll be alrite. I know theres all the stuff about the rear end being weaker but i dont think insurance companies would do it if it wasn't safe!
I got bummed for not declaring mods to my insurance company when i had...
^^ very true i didn't think about that... so i'll add... If you want to lower it go for an offset nearer the 45 mark so the wheels sit in the arch more so the wheel doesn't scrape on the arch, if you don't want to lower it then go for an offset nearer to 35 so the wheels sits out more and looks...
If you really want 17's mate then thats up to you... don't be put off by people on here :)
Depending on offset of the wheels etc you could lower the car up to 100mm... it has been done and all it required was a bit of grinding on the inside arch!

Im afraid the only way is to cut your hands to smitherines... You've got to get the it all lined up first which is hard as you can't see s**t all, the push towards the front of the car and twist at the same time... all in a hole as big as a virgins ***** piece!!
Just want to get a few things straight before i jump the boat... i should use the scratch remover first and then the colour restorer??
Can i use the colour restorer over the whole car (like a polish) and not just where theres light scratches etc??
Also can i put SRP and EGP on after this...
Block your car in, remove all valuable belongings, keep the doors open as fubar said to prevent damage and get down to your local sports store to invest in a baseball bat... Thats my personal opinion anyway but everyones different!!
I know i wouldnt be able to sleep all night thats for sure
