If it is the key transponder I think its a pretty poor immobilser as it took me seconds to start it by directly wiring the starter (plenty of room on a 1.2) . As the fuel pump was priming on ignition I reckon the immobilser is ok...

I went to a (very wet) track day at Castle Combe in my 205GTi yesterday and there was a blue Clio Cup there. I was talking to the owner but forgot to ask if he came on this forum or not - was it anyone off here?

A 205Mi16 is capable of 6.3seconds 0-60 with a similar power to weight so its just down to a good launch.
