I've not driven a CW fn2 but i've driven an FD2, and as said previously, the diffences in normal driving are somewhat overhyped, differences from 0 - 100 are minimal, the main thing thats immediately noticeable is the ride, If you think FN2's are bad then FD2's will kill you =D

I still miss my ph1, over a year since I owned it. Ph1 is also lighter than a Ph2 and has a longer ratio'd gearbox too, I managed to hit over 70mph in 2nd gear in mine when I drove like I stole it.

If it has FSH mate then I don't see why it would be a problem, yes it might be older with (i'm assuming) more miles on it.. but a BMW at 100k feels better than any clio at 50k :) but tbh i hate bmw's but do it :) Edit: holy smilies.

I have no doubt the MK2 TT is utterly gorgeous, but the MK1 hasn't aged well in the slightest if you ask me, brother has the 1.8 180bhp version, nice to drive, nice interior, just really plain and boring (maybe black paint doesn't help?)
