You get the extra 10bhp on the 182 through the maifold. Yes you can get a 182 style exhaust for the 172 there's been few on ebay over the last few month or you can get a custom jobby :)

Here's a pic of my old battery cover i put the nut on the opposite side i'm sure it would be easy enough to put the nut on the outside

I've got a chrome battery cover comming in the post and i've got a bmc on my car i intend to fit it with the bmc in place it shouldn't be too hard it will just mean putting the bmc bracket on the outside of the bolt. I will let you know how i get on :)

Yeah mate it looked really clean and well done it belong's or did to a kid that work's at ne detailing so will have the best of the best detailing on it and i'm sure i said he had it on the rolling road and it made 180 odd bhp here's a pic of it before the silly red bit's: Noice :)

That a steal imo you could get the rear arch and bonnet sorted for less than £400, so for less than £2000 you get a mint hybrid and it would be much faster than a 1*2 as there's no weight in these mk1's :)
