just fitted my bosch aeros this morning. Gt them fro wiperblades.co.uk and i actually think they look better than the standard ones that were on my car.
Is it just to have springs fitted? i.e. no shocks replaced.
Had mine done last week and it cost me £58.75 = 2 hrs labour.
I would say £120 is a bit expensive personally.
thanks for that, thought fox might be a bit on the cheapy side, obviously i know OZ are well regarded.
My car is running offset 43 as standard, can get the oz in et 37 which should look good and still give me enough clearance with 7" wide wheels instead of the standard 6".
Has anyone else changed their wheels on a Dynamique with this offset?
Really wanted some Ultraleggras but can only find them in et37. Will these be ok?
Or OZ Superturismos in et42.
My car is lowered 30mm on Eibach Pros.
P.S. I dont want to go to something with a larger offset as i don't...
They said that to me as well, they really dont know much about their own cars. Would be nice to see their faces when it goes in for service in september, however, their product knowledge is so low they wouldnt even realise it wasnt standard.
Well, this was gonna be a just fitted my 172 alloys reply, and it sort of is.
However, when putting them on, one of my FK spacers sheared at the chamfer between the main body and lip for the bore of the wheel to slide onto.
So needless to say, the dynamique alloys are still on, and the 172s...
I understand what your getting at, and it seems like a good idea but dont know how easy/difficult it would be to achieve.
Would love to know how you get on if you do it though as i might just copy you. lol
I was always told that as a seller ask for 10% more than you are willing to accept then when the bargaining has happened both parties should be happy.
Have you asked other people how much interest they are getting in their cars for sale? Perhaps people just arent buying at the moment?
I wanted to try velcro as i might need to replace them if the police get finicky. When i took the old ones off there were over a dozen old pads underneath which took ages to remove front and rear.
lol, going off what I expect from Halfords that would be possible! But, this is brand new Velcro(TM) adhesive velcro.
Will see what its like in the morning, and if its still crap, adhesive pads it is for the front.
it holds the velcro no problem, but its the actual adhesive on the velcro which doesnt stick. I have taped it down to hold over night and hopefully the adhesive will cure by the morning.
Fitted my new number plates today, went for adhesive velcro to allow for easier changes.
What I want to know is, has anyone had problems with the front number plate due to the curvature of the front bumper?
Basically because the bumper curves the number plate is wanting to spring back off at...
Nice one mate, because I have been really torn about whether to get it coded or not. Being able to see one done in this colour will be a big help with my decision.
Well, the weather was nice today so I fitted my new plates from Pl8s4U.com.
Simple job! (Only took 2 HOURS to get completely rid of the dozen or so sticky pads that held the previous plates on!)
The plates
On the car:
Thanks for all the positive comments guys.:)
You got yourself a set yet?
Havent been for a proper drive yet in the car since the suspension was fitted, but the ride feels both more planted as well as more comfortable if that makes sense.
