if you were creating a replica of a car that is well known to have the engine in the back, why whould you put a massive air scoop on the front bonnet??
i'm thinking of fitting a de cat further down the line. my saxo was decatted and it sounded amazing. banged and popped quite a lot. what make/style is the rest of your exhaust system.
love the colour of your ph1. i would either stick with the f1's or get someone to do a photoshop of your car with turinis on to see what they look like.
i've had a problem like this with a car a while ago, it turned out it was the spark plugs. faulty spark plugs would explain all the problems you've described. not saying its a definate but a possibility. hope you get it sorted mate.
mine hasnt got a red led next to the gear stick. i think they are related to the alarm system but i dont think that all UK models were fitted with one. so that doesnt mean it is deffo an import because it doesnt have one. not 100% sure though.
it wouldnt start once and you think you've bought a dud. lol, think thats a bit of a quick judgement. whats the rest of the car like? mileage? previous owners? etc etc etc.
there is a fairly high percentage of people (chavs) that leave school and can't read or write. so the fine example that has left the advert isn't doing too bad for him self; you can sort of understand it lol.
it sounds like your trying to save money in a very expensive way. being economic is boring.
good luck to you though mate with whatever route you do down. Interestingly my mate has bought a 53 plate 206 van in white. he's lowered it on some tastey alloys and he is putting some GTi kit parts...
if you could pick it up for around his reserve of 6k you'd have a V6 that with a tiny bit more money spent on it taking of all that chav tat, it could look quite nice. bargain for someone.
