As requested, here are some more pictures of my new Clio. Enjoy :) .
Lol, i didnt do it on purpose but all the pictures i have taken are of the front. Probably because it looks so good.
cant get any impression of how low these cars really are because the pics dont give a proper view of the car. they need to show the whole car really to see how low it sits. the pics so far are just cheeky teasers!!!
that is well low!! the front looks almost a perfect match to the back. look at the sill, it is the same distance from the ground the whole way along. if you lower the front more the car is going to be leaning forwards. leave it as it is.
good luck with speed bumps.
Anthracite would be what i went for. if you go black your tyres will always look grey plus at a distance it can look as if you are rolling on some stealies. just my thoughts.
Thanks. I live in a little village right next to it called Quorn. I've seen a couple 1*2's around my area recently. seen a silver one, lowered with some black/dark alloys going into the Budgens car park.
saxo was deffo a minter. i bought it 3 years ago from a female owner. only had 40k on the clock when i bought it. i spent loads of time on it making subtle changes. sad to see it go but im really enjoying the Clio.
I'm still new to the Clio 172 experience and i am continually impressed with its performance. I had a saxo before the Clio so its definately a step up in performance. a lot of car for the money!!
cheers, yeah, the weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow so will hopefully get a few pics taken. its an absolute minter. only 33k miles and has been really well looked after by the previous owner.
hi, another newbie.
i've really liked clios for as long as i can remember so when the time came to sell up my saxo i decided i wanted to own one. i've been a member of cliosport for a little while reading loads of threads and looking at projects. thought it was time to start uploading some of...
Added to my watching list mate. looks quite nice. what does it sound like, i've watched the youtube clip but my speakers are useless and can't get any impression of how what it sounds like. does it pop?
after that amount of miles the back end will have settled as much as it is going to. are the sills level with the ground? thats one of the most important factors with lowering. if they aren't level then you might have to consider getting the 55mm springs for the back.
is there any option to garage the car over night? thats what i've started doing in the cul de sac that i live in. means i live in peace that it isnt going to get damaged by dribbly kids throwing stones.
Induction kits are fine as long as you can avoid heat soak to the filter itself, so open filters although they sound good can actually lead to a lower bhp if the filter isnt being fed cool air. the advantage of the original air box is that it is designed to avoid heat soak to the filter so a...
