don't know anything about photography, but the Typhoon and the colour Vulcan pictures look stunning. i guess there'll have been lots of people there who do, but can you sell images like that?
funnily enough, i saw a Vulcan circling Filton earlier this afternoon - same plane?
the clamp goes around the outside of the bush - need to remove the bolt/nut and swivel the clamp to release the hook on the other end. it's under some tension so might need to lever the bar about
the bushes are pushed onto the end of the bar and should contain grease - i think they tend to...
good, good
you don't need to disturb the inner bushes - just the ones on the bar ends. the clamp has a lug on one end that hooks into the wishbone and is bolted down the other end, compressing the bush - should be fairly obvious when you take a look at it. you can just twist the bar out of the...
hello mate
they just unbolt from the arms - there's are clamp around the bush on each end of the bar. might need to lever the bar a bit. they're more difficult to get back on than take off as you need to be sure the clamp is sitting properly over the bush
meant to ask, did those bearings...
don't think you can buy OE bush kits - have to buy new arms. poly bushes could be worth a look if the balljoints are OK
not saying it's the bottom arms, but they'd be a prime suspect - would need to be sure something's definitely astray and then spend a little time going through the...
try levering the arms to see if you've noticeable movement from the inner bushes. it's not always easy to decide and testing by substitution might be easiest (i.e. renew them)
could be an idea to try comparing it with another Cup, just incase it's just a perception thing
if it's particularly bad and it's not the simple stuff, could be bottom arm bushes, etc. mine's fairly lively, but you don't really have to fight with it
you'd need to plumb a gauge in. i don't know, but assume there's a switch in the block for the warning lamp - could remove that and use a suitable union to connect a gauge. someone who knows what's what should be able to help
i've had to replace mine (same problem - leaking PAS seals in the rack itself). don't know if the A/C 172 is any different to the Cup, but i didn't need to drop the subframe - there was loads of room. it's still a very fiddly job though - wouldn't want to have to do it again really
what's the...
only watched the first one and it reminded me of the TEAM GIMPS videos that Knockhill got into trouble for a couple of years ago (anyone remember those?). not as bad (there's no contact for starters!), but Knockhill obviously still have a 'problem'
it's been raining heavily here and we've already a lot of standing water. it's due to slot it down all night as well. will make the m/way more interesting if nothing else
you going to the race weekend? (ed. ah, explained). my bro's supposed to be camping over but should imagine that's looking...
they'll surely outlast the soft OE mounts (?) but, if they need replacing, it looks as though you'd just replace the relevant rubber (the mounts themselves appear to be the same as a lot of those used by Vibratechnics - it's the alloy bits that they're bolted to that are specific to the Clio...
the rears on mine are swept right to the edge and are (i suspect) the original discs (on 60k). i'd not really worry about it, but you could remove the pads to see if they've crumbled at the edge, file the lip off the disc, lube the caliper up, and see what happens. think it's because they do...
Powerstation and Interpro are the two bigger ones - Circuit Motors might not be able to map; i think they tend to deal with simple mechanical fuel inj, carbs and distributors
tbf, if you only want a power run, anyone should be able to strap it down and do that. Powerstation use MAHA rollers...
