OEM+ is the way modifying should be done now adays.... subtlety is key in this game!
keep it simple.... lowering springs, 172 alloys or be a sheep and go for turinis.... touch of colour coding and your onto a winner!
this is how stuff started the day.... the rear half of bump strips and badges already had a coat of paint
then some spraying occurred
then badges got some lacquer
and just another couple pics for whoring potential haha
and yes these are smoothed PHASE 1 strips ;)
and as i have...
few pics i took today
since i never put pics up after christmas when i fitted the sub ( or in the summer when i fitted the 6x9s)
and to show the colour match between the badges ive been spraying up... this is before lacquer
and finally to show how minging the car before i cleaned it today...
nah its 3 sets of saxo mirror caps lol
gave the car its first real clean of the year so much nicer now
all i need to decide on now is what colour spray the wheels!
option 1) Gloss Black
2) Anthracite
3) Dark Gold (similar to scooby wheel colour)
4) White
opinions on which you lot think...
You take the plastic in the boot off then theres torx bits that need undone for the lock take them out and pop it off.... Simples....
I'd suggest getting a spare one though as I wouldn't leave it without one lkl
I'm go need to reprimer the boot lock surround as made a shite job of it first time :/
Badges just need laquer though so not so bad
Although car had a knocking from osf
Turned out to br driveshaft :( bye bye £133
Lowering now put back even further so might no get done before leaving for...
JESUS WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HE POOR CLIO?!?! :(
take off the halfrauds grill and get an RS one.... DTM mirrors should have stayed in the 90's and single wipers have always looked gash imho
but hey if you get back to he standard look it will be an improvement....
red rear badges and get shot of the renault clio stickers in the window....
colour code the spoiler, bumpstips and then paint the alloys same colour as the badge ;)
