Just come back from the gym and dropped in halfords to pickup the HP1400 washer. Will try it out tomorrow if the weather is ok.
As for the snow lance's they come with different adapters and I can't remember what the one on the halfords kit is but know they do them to fit :)

On orange get the blackberry bold 9000. Much nicer and implemented phone than the E71 and yes I have used both and until the bold was a total nokia only fanboy.

Got these at the recommendation of K-tec. Mistake. Wish I'd gone for el cheapo mintex ones. They squeal and there's s**t loads of brake dust front and rear and to be honest I'm not finding them particularly powerful either.
I do need to fit the braided lines and put new fluid in so may improve...
This thread didn't go far off track then....... :p
So what's the deal with the koni dampers and eibach sportline setup? Anyone know what the price works out at? Is it really a better option than the cheaper coilover setups?
G
Cheers for this. Will have to give them a ring to ask the question.
No more right foot being used and no I wasn't in slow lane. It's single carriageway to and from work but was probably doing 40-50 in 5th most of the way :)
G
Pretty sure it wasn't lying as was consistant from trip to trip. Best I managed was 44mpg back from work when there was quite a bit of traffic so I was just pootling along behind them all.
I had the brakes done at Angel Works so would have expected them to know about these shims but I could be...
Nope work and back regularly saw over 40mpg on the trip computer before all the bits fitted.:star:
Thought about the more air = more fuel theory but other people reckon they got better MPG after their inlets fitted from Jam Sport :S
G
I had RS inlets which I didn't realise and had matched one's fitter and noticed no difference I'm afraid. Time will tell I guess when few more mods done to see what it achieves BHP wise.
G
Hmmm it's hard to say which has resulted in my drop in MPG as they were all done round about the same time but I've dropped from easily 40mph to around 32mpg which is a fair whack.
Now the new brakes do seem to be pretty tight still even though done plenty of miles with them on. With the wheel...
Not seen the prices new to compare but I believe they are lighter than Turini's. I'm not sure about the gloss black though so may have to get them redone to a dark grey at some point.
