anyone got any good ideas on how to remove wiper arms? I need to get under other scuttle panel thing to access blower

I had a quick look on my lunch break and could feel that plug round the back of the unit. Not sure how to get to it as looks like it would be easier to remove passengers side scuttle panel and get to it that way but that requires removing the wipers and i know what a ballache that can be!

Yeah i followed that but for a 172 cup its different, looks nothing like that trust me as i looked this morning. There is just an empty space on the left and a plastic box on the right but no plugs that i could see hence why i will look under other scuttle panel later on today

I dont have a pollen filter as I have the cup model so no air con :(. I removed the scuttle panel and theres not alot there, think I could see a bit more over the passengers side so will remove that scuttle panel later on and have a look Would this be under the passenger side scuttle panel?

From a quick search it appears it might be my resistor? Easy fix and where to buy one? Wierd though becuase I haven't used my car for 2 months so why would it have stopped working all of a sudden? Any help appreciated Mark

It's a pic of your car mate not mine. Just I saw it on your media thread and thought I had done mine wrong initially so changed the bracket round and now it seems I was right all along lol

Is it ok to have the drop links as shown? If the plate of the bracket is at the bottom of the 18mm shock bolt or should it be at the top? Any difference apart from it hanging lower?

Do 197's have a little nipple poking on the underside of the nearside wing mirror? If there anything like the temps sensors on 172/ 182s they just need replacing as they are useless
