When I first bought my Clio MK1 172, accelerating gave me a nice swoooosh kind of sound. Now when I accelerate it's more of a grunt even thought i've made no mod's to exhaust or what not. The engine just seems to be growling more than the nice swooosh sound. Anything wrong or completely normal...

I take it by the words "direct replacement" it would be bolt on and I would need to take it off for MOT and put old CAT back on?
