I would be looking at the heat exchanger (the large plate on the side of the head that carries water and oil). Iv had this problem and it was the gasket on that.

72k or 5 years. Cambelt kit and aux belt kit. What engine is it?

You didnt disconect the coupling from the column and have destroyed the rotary switch and possibly the universal joints in the column.

Go out to it. Get in it. Close the door. Turn the ignition on for 30seconds. Then off. Lock and unlock the doors then try and start it.

These engine NEED the right plugs. Always get genuine renault other wise your will have problems.

Yeah its also the bolt that holds the lower manifold on. ;)

Yeah you should have a stud there on top of the bolt. Iv seen a few snap like this now believe it or not. Just go to renault. They will be a few quid at the most!

It isnt an imobiliser relay. Its the injection locking relay. It fires up most off the sensors on the engine.

You will have problems with your red fuel cut off switch at that angle. Get it mounted up right so it doesnt trip its self.

Next thing to do is to remove the fuse box cover behind the passenger headlight. Check all the general wiring to the 3 black relays. Turn the relay block over and check for green corrosion. Pull all the relays out and check for corrosion. Then try swapping the relays around. Hope this helps.
