Yeah I can understand that. As the paint on my car is (well it was before it went into the garage) bloody perfect all I wanted it for was to make it look shiny.
Its good that I can use sealants with it, I remember applying some super gloss protection to my astra, took ages! Worth it though.
Well the estimate is for this Monday coming, so I emailed the guy there and asked him, he said that depending on the work it could change.
The car is in the paint shop at the moment, and is due to be out a 6am on Friday, then it will have everything refitted, then all thats left is quality &...

Ordered it around a week and a half ago to cheer myself up after what happened, so naturally having not had my car back haven't had the chance to try it out.
Since I am vastly lacking knowledge about these things what...
I don't know how much he paid but it should cost around £150-180 to tint the windows on a clio. That was the quote I got from tintman or somebody like that.
I was thinking about mentioning it, but I know for definate that there were no swirl marks. I also have the extra excuse that it is a brand new car and never been through a car wash in its life!

No swirl marks in the paint, absolutely A1. I had just waxed...
Yeah, I specifically asked them about that, and it has been ordered, so should be on.
I just hope that the repair work is tip top, and they don't put swirl marks into the paint when they valet it.
The car was in higher than A1 condition before the accident, so its got to be like that when...
Thats what I thought that this one did. I mean its 3 point just the same as a normal seatbelt.
Actually now I've just thought, there wouldn't be any fixing point to the right of you as the belt just pulls across. Might get a CG Lock
yeah i know, its what i would have ended up with had I not found this guy through pistonheads.com
although it does piss me off about the accident thing.
although from reading something about insurance, if someone asks me if i've had any accidents, i will say do you mean claims, they will...
Pics taken when i went to see it at the garage that is fixing it.
Been told just now that its in the paint shop and should be finished by 27/2
I just hope that it is ready then.
