dont know how long i'm gonna keep the clio for tho (maybe looking for a 182 soon so dont see the point in spending all the extra to loose it)
i'm looking to buy new suspension for my clio sport as i lowered mine and the ride is pooooo and wondered which would be the best?
i wont be doing any track days just rode use
i have just lowered my 172 on apex springs and standard shocks which was ok for around a week but has gone really soft and dangerous over 90 mph due to shocks leaking, is it worth me buying standard shocks again and risking them leaking or going for a full koni kit

is the indicator that makes the wiper have a fit the same side as the reverse light? you probably know but if your front wipers are on and you go into reverse the back wier turns on aswell (maybee you have a dodgy commection)

^^ thats not the same as a power cap for a car,
if you look inside the clear display there are resistors and a circuit board and usually a digital display to tell you what voltage the cap is running at, this is what picks up the voltage drop.
power caps detect a current drop and power up to keep the power running at a higher rate when the stereo is on,
turning the alarm off or opening the boot will activate the power cap
try to leave the car closed and locked where you can see the power cap to see if it powers down

^^ tried these in my old focus and they sounded s""t
you get feed back from everything possible and loose your rear speakers
either buy a new hwad unit or run high level inputs to your sub and amp the rear speakers as well
i ended up removing the two nuts and bolts driling the holes out tap and threaded the casing and used two m12 bolts and some thread lock
(best thing i ever did) never comes loose, no more problems

i have a top engine mount u can have cheap ( i changed all mine thinking they were knackerd but had a mounting bolt missing on the gearbox) duh!:dead: i paid £66 for a new one the old one looks fine to me can have it for £20 posted

my w reg 172 has just started with erratic tickover cold and when warm sits at 2000rpm

Does anyone know where i can get a drivers side driveshaft for my 172 2000 w reg?
I had it in the air today and it dont seem to wanna stay near the gearbox its sliding down so you can see the splines
there is a pin hole slot in the gearbox but not the shaft
is it the wrong shaft?
any advice or...
