McBunny...it's a cable mate, if it works then it works. Unless you swing off the cables, and use them for skipping they're not likely to break overnight. If they don't work, you take them back and get a replacement. Very simple.

Can be closed/deleted. I went for a Linx HDMI cable off of Play's sale for £12 delivered. Read that anything under 3M you can pretty much use string for, and theres nothing to choose between a £200 IXOS to a £5 Tesco value cable (source: Avforums). Cheers.

Thing to remember though is the Xbox has had lots of time to mature, and for the developers to really get to grips with the dev kits. Things ALWAYS suck to start with ;) I haven't even played one mind, so pretty much a blind date with a PS3. As long as it plays BR movies nice and sharp though...
