banded steels are like steel wheels but deep dished on then.

been thinking of changing my wheels on my 182 but not sure what sort to go for. was thinking something euro-ish... many will say gay to that haha!
always wanted ronal turbos but not sure what they look like on mk2 ph2 clios.
also thought about banded steelies but dunno what they would look...
Yesterday started up my car and the engine management light was flashing at me looked at my miles and it was on 66600.... no problems seemed to occur and it went off after i did 66700 miles... maybe it was the 666 haha!
Right probably always happens but on my 182 steering wheels the rubber bit had worn off... so now looks shitty.
can you rebuy these or is it a case of a full new steering wheel?
yeah all fitted in and together fine... love it how dash parts just pop off... ipod cable now connected haha!
only thing is that when i go over bumpy roads the cage rattles out so need to take it apart and make the cage fit a little better lol
Right im about to fit an aftermarket HU to my 182 but im wondering if i need an ISO adapter or a surround or anything... cant really remember so thought id ask on here.
just wanna know while im near my local halfords haha! its an alpine HU btw.
so would you recommend this to be done on a 182 over the standard box and aftermarket filter?
or would i be better just getting a proper aftermarket induction/air filter?
got a garage to check the exhaust if it was blowing and they said it was fine... also asked them to check drive shafts and they said they are fine as well.
spoke to a mate about his old clio and he said they whine alot anyway so is it just a normal noise for one?
cant be a wheel baring as it does it at a stand still. will have to pop the old bonnet up and get a mate to rev it slightly so i can hear where its coming from.
Right it makes the noise when reving with the clutch down in gear and when its out of gear as well. It does it in every gear but is a bit hard to hear cause of my stupid exhaust lol. It changes tone with the more accelarating then dies down when clutch is put down to change gear then builds up...
couple of the switches have been drawn on or something buy previous owner and are a little scratched... is it possible to just get new ones or is it the while air con control unit bit that i would need to order?
haha @ bifcaids....
just check general things... cambelt needs to be done at 60k so best to check that and knock down the price if it hasnt been done as it can be quite expensive... like 500+
open up oil cap and check for white frothy stuff... and check water... just to make sure head gasket...
anyone know a good place to get them or how much they are from renault.... had a look on ebay but they seem a little pricey.
does clio spares still exist?
it sounds like the engine... notice it more in a multistory carpark haha!! was reving it a little to hear my exhaust but makes the whine louder... obviously while driving an not parked up.... doesnt make the noise when stationary.... like if the window is down i can hear it louder as well.
