Has anyone ever heard of Renault making a ltd edition black williams? I havent, but a chap at work reckons he used to have one, and says it wasnt repsrayed.

I think (and hope), that the williams clios will reach a value, and not drop below it (a bit like the series 1 Escort RS Turbos). At the end of the day, you only lose out if you sell it. I cant think of another car that you would enjoy as much for the money.

Ive got a willy 1, and it has got handmade speaker spacers in the doors (there when I bought it 4 yrs ago). So I think that originally, the cars came out of the factory with four speakers (two in the dash, and two under the plastic supports for the parcel shelf).

Power acoustic are pretty decent (its nice to be different).

I think sound quality and clarity is more important than how loud it goes, but its down to the individual. Also depends on the type of ice install you go for (sound quality or pressure). The acoustics in cars is naff, agreed, but why suffer the standard poo speakers when you can try and cheer...

I just put more subs in to drown out all the creaks, knocks and rattles. Maybe it will shake apart 1 day...

How loud is your hum? If its just a mild drone, then you can leave it a little while, but if it f*ckin loud, then get it done sharpish. I still reckon you should just get a mechanic to check it out, just incase.

What year is your clio? Mine is 1994, and I found that if you unscrew the speaker covers on the dash, there is enough room to fit the cross-overs. I then fitted the tweets on brackets where the original speakers were, and cut out spacers to fit the mids in the doors. You going for some big sounds?
