I did Cadwell park a few weeks back and paid 60 quid for the days insurance cover - peace of mind really. I think a lot of its based on car value mines only a valver so probably got away lightly.

just to let you know i have sourced some red carpet for DIY fitting from mjinteriors (VW people) flexible backing in Mars red at 25 quid a metre - top quality stuff.just have to now fit it.They quoted 450 to have it done for me but I declined the very nice offer prefering to go DIY. david

go for components - only a few extra wires and finding somewhere for tweeter/crossover.Its worth the extra effort.

Infinity all the way - components be even better !

Tar-Ox 40 groove are fantastic with a decent set of pads - same size tho. I got some from Nick Hill with pads and can honestly say they are the best brakes ive ever had on any car,and ive had a few.
