Hey all
A bike has fallen from its holder on to my missus' car and scratched / dented the door.
Anyone know of any good bodyshops / repairs around the stevenage area?
Would be grateful for any ideas!
Thanks
:)
Hey all :)
Just want to get a spare wheel to keep at home etc - got these details in terms of requirements.
* 4 stud
* 100 PCD
* Offset between 35 and 45
* No wider than 205mm tyre
* Between 15" and 17" alloy
I'm planning on going to a scrappy soon, but...
Saw you getting on the slip road this morning - think it had dark wheels and what looked like a magnex oval exhaust (I was a bit far off).
It was around 8.15am
my motor wouldn't start last night either - was turning over, but not firing!
a renault mechanic friend also said it was probably the TDC sensor. I left mine for a bit and it started anyway, but will probably look to give it a clean soon me thinks.
hope you get it sorted mate :)
appeared to be fairly standard, with only a small aftermarket exhaust (looked tidy) that was obvious.
Had a cliosport.net sticker too
is the person not a member on here yet then?
Not sure if it's anyone on here, but saw a cup with what looked like black alloys with the registration no. as above. It was just about to join the road that leads up to the vauxhall / ford dealers in St Albans this morning, around 8.15/8.20
anyone on here?
i've just changed from conti's on my cup to pe2's and am extremely happy with them. Have given me sooo much more confidence, especially in the wet.
I have had p zero nero's before (not on a clio) and I liked them, but thought I'd try the pe2's this time and not disappointed :)
from my experience, pads are where the difference is, and 'better' discs dont really aid that much.
when i come to replace mine, i'll be getting ds2500s and hc discs :)
looks tidy mate :)
that ktec combo is the one I've been considering, as I'm not bothered about a tailpipe and would prefer not to have to change the cat for each MOT, and therefore get a sports cat.
You happy with those bits then?
personally I went for the cup, as I love the colour and the wheels. Also, having come from a vx220, i wanted something fairly raw, so the cup fits the bill nicely.
the lack of ABS was a small concern, but as long as you're fairly sensible, it's not a problem. :)
lol!!!
sorry mate, missed that thread!! :rolleyes:
nah, it's mainly a standard cup my friend! only mods are lowering & refurbed turini's.
couple of minor other mods, but that's it really.
I'm there for about 2 weeks or so, so you'll see me there a few more times :)
it is very frustrating when tyre places don't take enough care.
thankfully, I have a mate of a mate who's a mechanic and can also change tyres, and he's v careful!! :)
