Nothing happens at all when I press the fob button. The doors lock and unlock fine with the central locking button in the car. Rang Renault up today and they seem to thing its the key so I'm looking at around £150 FFS :(

Thought I'd pop up a thread here too seen as its a fault and I need a solution. Basically yesterday morning I parked up as normal and pressed the fob to lock my car. Got back to the car after college in the afternoon to find it wouldn't unlock without doing it manually. Fob light still flashes...

Yeah it was fine yesterday, parked it up and locked it as usual with the fob in the morning. Came to my car at around 4.30 and it wouldn't unlock with the fob. And there is no noise, nothing happens at all when I press the fob. Just the red light flases on it as normal like it always has done...

Right, tried a new battery in the key fob just in case, still no luck. Tried several times to reprogram the fob to the car but still no luck :( Can see this being a dealer job tbh :( :( :(

Anyone got any ideas? I'm gonna check the fuses tonight.

Ahh I've recently got xbox live and mine has been doing this all night, saying Downloading Game Settings for agessss. Or when I get into a game it gets stuck on the loading screen :( Just thought it was my xbox.

Got to my car this afternoon to find it wouldn't unlock with the key fob, the fob flashes as per usual so I'm ruleing out the battery. It just wont unlock or lock the car? Any ideas on what it could be?
