3/4 plate looks great on the front, i use one on mine, never had trouble for it despite being pulled over several times, if it was on the back probably would have been diffrent. I used it on mine because the full size one had broken off

make sure the map sensor is connected properly, change the lambda sensor aswell mine was doing waht you described and it was the lambda sensor, also clean the icv.
