Well that was interesting, it took all of 30 mins to fit the rear in total. Really easy, much easier than the Clio infact.... Took a few pictures along the way,
Only two bolts hold the rear shocks on, one on the chassis leg inside the boot floor......

and then on on the rear beam...
Ahh right never knew that, i used the sticky mounts the one time unused my GoPro :). Least you can mount your off the cage then?
Self tapper it to the bonnet, will be ok ;)
fixed pretty solid then? I thought it may have been the camera shaking inside the case but it never made the same noise Ann I Lou tex it from there?
unless its picking some vibration up through the seat?
When I had that bar that I made, I found I was getting like a rattling/static noise aswel. Couldn't find where it was coming from at all. Made sure all the mount ect was right but it made no difference at all.
be fine for track. Does the bar go between the two front seats same as mine did?
You know I used it all the time ;) took it to 4 track days and the ring, used it for about 16 mins in total. I either forgot to charge it up or forgot to start recording lol. I'm determined to get another and actually use it haha.
That could work, spraying the protector on before then putting the coil over covers on. Least they coilovers will have some protection against the water.
Ahh so we're you book on at Oulton for the 16th then? Yeah come down say hello and bring your helmet :).
Well I'm borrowing a GoPro for the day off Cal (carbon raider). I've still got the mount so I should be ok to get a few sessions on video I think :). Will you be using a GoPro?
Thats an idea.... I would have coated them all in the stuff haha. I think I need to get myself another GoPro also sold mine a while back, itching for another now :)
I've thought about them Adam, wouldn't they just he water against the shock?
Chees, didn't intend to be going down this line with the car when I bought it but the track day bug just won't leave me alone :(. Have you any track days booked?
Don't want to put anything that's really sticky on mate. Just want something that's kind of waterproof. Don't want them to get covered in rubbish as soon as I go out in the car lol. I'll have a look around and see what's about.
What's everyone using to protect their coilovers agains the British weather and roads?
ive heard things from spraying with the fk coilover protector spray to wrapping with tape to covering in grease none of which I'm really too keen on. Had abit of a search on the Internet and a lot of people...
Don't know if something similar to this would be any good, or just general coilover protector spray?

just need joe to come and give it another detail..... What...
i hope so once it's set up :). We will soon see at Oulton in November won't we. Will have to fiddle about with the damping a little but I'll get there with it :)
Cheers be even better once there on and set up. Going to be running 3 degrees of camber and 1mm toe out :). Just need to order some spacers once there fitted :)
May aswel share another update, after Blyton Park a few weeks ago whilst we were driving home the car decided to make a really high pitched grinding noise, anyway it didn't sounds too good as you can expect. I thought one of the brake pads were running a little low. Didn't think anything of it...
