Ahhh yeah wouldnt put it under my parents policies for a start i dont live with them would look a little suspicious. Plus not the best thing to do if your the main driver. 3 years and i may have one though once im over 25 should be rather cheap to insure then.
wish i could insure one but due to me doing minimum of 15000 a year plus where i live. central manchester the lowest quote i got for a V6 so far was....£7000 a year where the hell do they honestly get there prices from :/
but i would honestly wait for the newer sports model that way even if it aint that good you could still get a 182 cheaper as the prices will have dropped and its likely some dealers may still have some kicking about i know my local dealers had a couple on the forecourts 54reg models with £9999...
my mums new car was delayed she basically made a big stink of it and since she needs the car they gave her a curtesy car until hers arrived made them get the car quicker though. The car instead of it being the few weeks they said it would be turned up in 5 days.
I admit a 1.2 clio is nippy for what it is but having owned one it does annoy the hell outta me when i am used to driving bigger more powerful cars i put my foot down and theres just nothing there .And the damn thing is awful when it comes to over taking manouvres.
Dont think platinum came on the 182's but the colour of my MK2 1.2 is platinum has a kinda blue tint to it comes up a bit more blueish when its dirty though.
No difference in engine. And sholdnt be much difference with insurance. The cars are basically identical the cups just more of a drivers car hence the no ABS bit and a few other bits and pieces.
This is the same in all the clios my 1.2 clutch is high as well and to get it in gear i barely have to touch it. And yeah my biting point is rather high as well but that changes from car to car no 2 clutches are ever exactly alike so cant really say much with the biting point.
Love my 1.2 16v as well mate they are just good chuckable cars. My 1.2 might not be fast i still drive it hard all the time though only way to get the sod to move. And going into tights bends at 30-70 is the only way to keep speed up. Great fun wee cars. Know what ya mean about 182's etc though...
Well typically its 1st to 10 2nd to 20 etc etc until you get to 30 then they say 4th usually when your crusing but i usually change around 2000rpm driving normally and 2000rpm is around 32 on the speedo on my car in 4th.
Tried doing the same thing in my mates 1.4 though when i had to drive...
Thats the normal windows XP loading screen should appear sometimes depending on how much crap is loaded on the comp what version of XP service pack is used etc etc can take longer sometimes you barely notice it.
I wouldnt recommend going to XP 64 either as its no up to much at the moment...
I drive in mine at 30 in 5th 1500rpm at 30 is about right for crusing along.
But my clio seems to guzzle fuel unless i fill the tank right up the first half seems to take ages to dissapear then again £10 gets me over half a tank yet it still takes a further £20 to fill it.
Sure you guys have seen those pics that were released a while ago right? Will stick em up here anyways.
