I'm moving my lounge around and, as a result, I don't think my existing Sky cables will reach the new location of the box. What do I need to be able to extend the cables another metre or two?
So the missus has let her iphone drop out of a dock station music thing, onto a tiled kitchen floor. Broken screen.
No specific insurance for it, surprise.
So, how much will Apple charge to replace the screen?
The alternatives at the moment seem to be to see if our home insurance covers...
A quick question...
I've recently added quite a lot of music to my PC and moved it all into 'my music' folder. Now, there's too much to add each folder (album) separately to iTunes, but last time I tried adding all of 'My Music' (thinking it would only add the stuff that wasn't already in my...
No before's because I'm a rubbish detailer-writer-upper and didn't even think about it....
But I'm pleased with the results for my first time, not sure I was applying the right pressure all the time and I found the pad deceiving as to whether it was spinning or not! There's still light...
Noise that tends to increase in pitch as you go faster...?
The rear brakes were changed less than 12 months ago, so I'd hope the bearings are fine so I'm guessing it's the fronts.
How much am I looking, each?
Looking to pick up a couple CCS pads as I begin my journey into machine polishing, but am a bit baffled by the range of pads available:
Yellow - cutting
Orange - light cutting
White - polishing
Black - finishing
Blue - finessing
I'm thinking Orange and Black will cover most eventualities...?
Apologies for the rubbish pics, same camera as always but didn't bother with tripod or any of the settings.
Got my freshly fitted Apex springs on her last week as well as my Prospeed system with decat, so thought I may as well throw some piccies up. The springs are obviously still to settle a...
The missus has gone to Wales for the week, and taken my car with her...:(
She returns tomorrow though, missus too unfortunately. Ahem.
Odd how much you can miss something so much that you find countless faults with on a daily basis.
Alright detailing chaps, I've not frequented this place much mainly due to the fact that the Cup's not grabbed my cleaning attention much recently.
Anyway, as the weather warms up I'm in need of replenishing my stocks...
I need:
Shampoo
Wash Mitt
LSP Wax (to layer well over Jeffs AJT)
A...
On my new PC it seems that the connection to the wireless router (free with Sky Broadband...) is very hit and miss.
It always shows the wireless network as being available, but sometimes just can't connect. I'll then return 5 minutes later and it's managed to connect of its own accord...
Any...
Alright chaps.
Got a contract with Orange, £30 per month, with approx 5 months left.
Will any retailers buy me out of the remaining part of the contract? Im' sick of the site of my phone turning itself of, resetting itself and being generally a pile of w'ank.
Would get another phone at the...
Just wondering if, for curiousity's sake if nothing else, anyone has put their decatted 1*2 through an MOT test to see the outcome?
Just how much would it fail the emissions test by?
On my way to rugby about 2ish and saw a silver ph1 on Heavitree road coming up the hill and then a white 197 (Cup?) on the roundabout by the services...
The ph1 owner knew what she was looking at in mine, so maybe on here?
Has anyone else had major problems with the W910i, with regards to turning itself off, the red light on the back, 'operation failed', etc?
I've got the phone on an 18 month contract, which started about 13 months ago (no insurance, so Orange aren't going to give a crap now, as I doubt SE...
Parked up near the entrance, had some small graphics on it so I'm guessing it's enthusiast owned.
I mentioned it was a nice colour to my mate and got the reply "what, red?"... I gave up.
Just wondering where everyone shops online for PC components?
Overclockers is great but I understand, from the forums, that more established members know where to go to get parts cheaper (they tend not to say, seeing as OC is a retailer as well as the forum). Looking around I've seen ebuyer is...
I've been looking around for a half-decent PC, preferably already built and supplied as a system, but wouldn't discount building myself if it was worth it price-wise...
Anyway, I've stumbled across this which seems like a pretty good deal:

Gave the Cup a clean today and thought that I've not pic-*****d for a while so about time... :)
Went to the nearest multi-story this evening for some cool lighting pics; not the most imaginative but I'm quite happy. Paying £1.40 to get back out again wasn't so great though...
I think my battery's on the way out, as the trip computer resets itself each time I start the car up (apparently the first sign?...).
Recently, I've had:
(Earlier this week) The indicators didn't work. I then turned the lights on and off and the indicators starting working and have been...
The car's off to Carlton tomorrow to get it checked anyway, but thought I'd see i I could get a heads-up first...
On reversing down my parents' drive a week or so ago, I heard quite a loud clunk. I put it down to going over a drain at the time, but ever since it feels like the tracking is out...
Popped up there to visit some friends who, incidentally, weren't in, but saw this little beasty parked up outside.
Dunno if they're on here, but I'd say the owner lives there...
:)
Just a bit of a time-wasting exercise for any PC buffs that fancy spending a few minutes...
After Xmas I'll be getting a new PC and I was considering a laptop for a while before realising that they're a comparative rip-off. So, with a budget of £700 give or take, can someone put together a PC...
Saw a nice black 172 heading towards Heavitree today, by the Rifford Road junction.
And, a LY 182 on the roundabout by Tesco's - looked lovely, although not sure I like this colour as much as I used to.
First RS' I've seen around Exeter for a while...
Been waiting f**king ages for an Update List stereo to come up for sale and finally won one on Ebay. With the help of Floridadaz I can get my tunes back in the car... changing CD's when driving is too much hassle!
Yay. :)
