Yes, loops over oldest once the card is full.
You've misunderstood what it does. Left to its own devices it will record over the oldest files once the card is full. If you have an accident that's registered by it's g-meter/accelerometer it will mark the file being recorded at the time and...
It works from an ignition 'switched' power feed...in my case for now (until I get it properly hard-wired in), running from the front power socket.
Ignition on, it starts recording. Ignition off, it stops recording.
It records individual files that you can set to be either 3, 5, or 10 minutes...
I'd have thought so!
I did umm and aah for a long time about that...if anything having this fitted to the car has had a positive impact on my driving...and with very little detriment.
You can get it here...

That's a link to the G1W which has a 120 degree angle and a bright shiny large silver bezel around the lens. The G1WH I have has the black bezel as per my picture, a 140 degree viewing angle and something...
I'll get it mounted better than it is...I'm going to butcher the mirror clamp to make a small pad I can stick up high behind the mirror, I'll end up not being able to see it while driving along. That's small enough for me.
For what it cost it's incredible value in my opinion. I'm definitely...
Got it fitted this morning; I had to resort to the suction cup as the clamp designed for the mirror stalk won't fit the ST. I will butcher it mounting one of the smaller balls on a flat pad I can stick permanently to the windscreen to see if i can get it tucked away behind the mirror a little...
Ah, this it what was happening there yesterday then?! I drove past Goodwood en route to Horndean and saw the car park full...thought it might have been some staff training event for the FoS or Revival.
The Fiesta makes me weep, a few of the others could have my close attention for hours, the...
Here's my latest addition to the ST, A G1WH dashboard camera. This will be trial fitted to the windscreen...once i'm happy it's set right and that it works well I'll mount it more permanently and get it properly wired in...and then I'll also get one for the rear.
For £47 delivered from China...
If it's for track use then you'll want, and should be able to keep always, a nice even coating on the disc surface.
I find that mine eventually clean themselves of the deposits after a trackday through normal road use, takes some time, makes some fair amount of noise, and does introduce some...
Or when, like I did on the way in this morning, you get stuck behind some doddery old c**k who brakes every 20m even when only doing half the posted speed limit.
Then, when you finally get past you find a tractor ahead but only once you're beyond the point of any viable overtaking opportunity...
You want a deposit of pad material on the surface...it's got to be even though or you'll get the vibration.
First session on any trackday I do is working on getting the brakes set for the day...repeated steadily increasing brake applications over the session to give the entire disc a nice...
LOL, you're wrong.
I'm 43 and 3/4 and I go out once at a week minimum.
Why?
Because I enjoy driving. I enjoy trying to be a better driver. I enjoy the feeling of being connected to my car and flowing down the road as one.
Nowhere near McDs though...I'm fortunate enough to have the South...
Is it?
I thought it was more of a general lottery...abused ones can be fine and equally, gently treated ones can fail without notice.
On my 200 which I ran from 18k to 42k miles I always rev-matched and focussed on being smooth and treated it with sympathy. Having done that I still had no...
3yrs? I'm sure I've seen pictures before of yours without the italics...I thought they must have been a recent addition. The last thing a V needs is anything to draw attention to it, its outrageous looks and building arches are more than enough! Love the flame red :D
Just what exactly do you think Renault have covered that 'really decent steering wheel' with? Leather?
LOL
See above Martin_172 's post above, my 172 Cup and my 200 both did this...and was a factor in me not being able to bring myself to buy a 200T.
How can you spend that much money on a...
