Just how many Revs is normal?

lol at 2k gear changes! What did you drive previously, an HGV? N/A engines generally need revving much higher than forced induction to make power. 2k is fine for pottering about, but if you want to make progress you need to be getting up to 4-6k as that's where the power is (the little that it...

    My old mum's timewarp MX5 £8,000

Probably best to update the advert to reflect that too, it's listed as London which is a fair old trek from Lyme Regis!

    My old mum's timewarp MX5 £8,000

Lovely example, but I reckon you're going to need to put a lot more effort into the photos to get the interest at that price. I'd be getting photos of the underside, sills etc to show how clean it is. Good luck with the sale, if it's as good as you say it needs keeping that way as they are few...

    Multi car diagnostic tool

I have an Otofix D1 lite. Paid <£200 from Aliexpress (UK seller though so arrived in a couple of days) Uses Autel software and comes with 2 years out of the box. Its bidirectional too which very few are at this price point. It's bloody brilliant!

10+ year old Old discs and tyres? - Bin them?

Not quite how it works, the first 2 digits are the week number so 0525 would be week 5 of 2025 not the 5th month, but close enough when we are talking about 15 year old tyres!

After sales Key code, Clip program Key fob?

If it's a key that did previously work, shouldn't it just need re-syncing to the car? I'd imagine there is a relatively simple button pressing procedure for it, rather than needing CLIP.

    Amazon fire TV sticks

Couldn't tell you. My dad is the reseller, so I assume he's making a bit on it - I've never asked as I see it as decent value regardless. Price above is what he charges me, so I'm not making anything on it - just offering to help out a fellow CSer. I know renewal is a fair bit cheaper, it's...

    Amazon fire TV sticks

I can probably help out. Not as cheap as some folks have mentioned in here, but something like £120 will get you access to everything for 12 months. All UK TV (Sky Sports, movies, Pay per view etc) loads of foreign stuff along with 20-30k movies on demand (many new/current) and about 7-8k TV...

It sure is a bit weird. Assuming I've got the reg correct from the photo that is of course (which it looks like I have, make, model and colour all match)

    The new tool thread

Just treated myself to a new jack. I've had a lightweight ali one for years but it's on it's last legs and was only a 1.25t thing, so struggled to lift anything of a decent size. I'd forgotten how heavy a decent sized jack can be, this thing is 37kg. Halfords 3T low profile jack I didn't pay...

Clio RS 2013 Where is ISO cable?

Very few (if any) OEM stereos have ISO outputs. You'll probably need a speaker to ISO converter of some sort. It takes the output from the speaker wires and converts it to an ISO connector.

Clio RS 2013 Focal 130AS speakers upgrade problem

This is the one i was calling half a screw. Id still be trying to put 2 more screws in if i were you, regardless of the fact the oem speaker was only held in with 2. The more securely mounted the better.

Clio RS 2013 Focal 130AS speakers upgrade problem

The one and a half screws holding the speaker in won't be doing the sound quality much good tbh.

    Eezibleed alternative.

That mat be correct, I have a couple of pressure bleeders too so next time I need to bleed anything I'll try both and see which works best for me.

    Eezibleed alternative.

I recently bought a manual oil extractor pump thing that has adapters for brakes/clutches. I'm yet to try it on brakes but it sure works well for oil! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CC8G4GV6/?tag=cliospnet01-21

OEM tyres were 215/45/17 - are they any cheaper or do you specifically want 225's?
