Am about to convert my mk2 ph1 1.2 to rear discs but putting a 172 axle on
Few things. If I'm getting braided brake lines do I get the 1.2 ones or the 172 ones.also is it possble to use the existing brake lines untill the braided ones turn up?
The springs/shocks I guess I can use standard...
The garage Im getting mine resprayed at toldme that wherethey go wrong is that primer LOVES to soak waterup. And we all know the British weather lol.
Water in the primer will bubbleup on warm days so bye bye top coat.
well during my A levels a few years ago we worked out that
Red LEDs have a forward voltage of about 1.7 volts (V) and draw about 20 milliamperes (mA). Multiplying those together, a red LED uses about 34 milliwatts (mW). Multiplying that by 24 hours in a day and 365.25 days in a year, a red LED...
Won't be spending any money :). I already have thousands of LEDs and wire.
Only thing I may struggle on after Reading that document posted above is the angle of visability.
I've spent the last hour Reading some documents apparently the lights need to be between 60 and 150 candels. I think.
Although I need to make sure brake lights are brighter than normal running lights.
But with lEDs should be easy.
I'm notsure on the shapes to usethough
I've seen it on 1 car before although no idea if it's legal
So anyone know if it's legal to have your own lights mounted say inside the car up against the back window?
I know I would have to have reflective strips.
But I'm thinking of making some custom LED lights in my own shapes...
will fit
BUT you will have to do loads of work on the wiring, new ecu, new exhaust. etc
not worth it tbh. if your engines that bad pick a 1.2 8v up from a scrappy for £50 and save up for a new car
