Yes, the external drive is slower than internal, however games that are not “optimised for Series X/S” are totally fine on external. The loading is still super fast which is a nice bonus!! Loving it so far :)

Just want to clarify - I have never said the One X is not HDR. The One X supports HDR10 and even Dolby Vision. The only difference now is that the Series X and S both will have Games in Dolby Vision and Atmos - the only next gen consoles to do so according to Dolby. :)
