Depends on the type, the ones in our locker room have the numbers printed on the lock. So, I can go on eBay and buy a spare key to them.

How can it be though, ok the guy accepts on the FB group that he'll be at the karting. The thief would have to be there to see that locker he uses and have a key or make him use a certain locker.

    Suspension refresh, which shocks?

Hi @RS Charlie I did 8 track days with the cup shocks and cooksports and it was fine, I've gone for B14s now but been told they are no better than the Cup shocks and Cooksports. I've not tried the B14s on track yet, but if it's true then I'll use them until a set of second hand ASTs come up.

    182 Rolling Road results

@DTM888 I just checked and my 52 plate 172 Cup owes me £7,900. I'd strip it, perspex windows, buckets & cage. I'd leave the a/c in as I miss mine in the summer.

Stop there, that's a good point to stop. When you get to over 5k, you know the cheap track car has gone slightly wrong :)

    182 Rolling Road results

No, don't look them up, you'll buy one, then you'll end up like me where your steering wheel & gearstick cost 1/3 of the car. Then, your wife will find the spreadsheet of Clio costs and she won't be your friend, and she'll say things like "I think you've had your Christmas present" Possibly.

    182 Rolling Road results

I'd take it to your local specialist and get it checked, belt failure is an engine killer so they can check things have been changed at the same time as checking the timing.

Standard 172 Cup. God, I miss that car, only a few more weeks to go!

    182 Rolling Road results

@RichieJA if the belts aren't done by a specialist then a lot of these cars have the timing out so are down on power. Worth checking who last did the belts and if it wasn't your local specialist having the timing checked.

Don't take it to Surrey, as Charlie said, they "only make 160-170bhp". Then mine ran 176bhp and he said it was a freak :(

    Suspension refresh, which shocks?

Just get Renault ones, £70 for both. If you want to spend £110, I'll send you a full set of Cup shocks that have seen little mileage

    Suspension refresh, which shocks?

I've just taken off Cup Shocks & Cooksports and they were good on track, I've gone for budget coilovers B14s as I've blown the budget elsewhere - I've heard the B14s aren't so good on track so I may need to change them quicker than expected

On run 1 it runs less power at the wheels than run 2, but in run 2 it makes more power at the fly than run 1. How does that happen?

Changing Gearbox & Clutch - Advice / Anything I am missing?

I got mine to getting the subframe down, and got stuck as the captive nuts spin. If this happens to you, pull out the arch liners and you can access them all.
