Good to see everyone again and meet Andy (Mak) at last (Despite living about 3 miles from him!)
Sorry I had to go with the early leavers but I'm moving house tomorrow and I also managed to pick up a stinking cold as well...
Yeah! config.sys and autoexec.bat, spending ages with MEMMAKER.EXE to get 600kb base memory, loading your drivers with himem.sys etc.
Back when mouse.com was a driver file and not a website, happy times! ;)
Just downloaded it so here's what to do:
1. Download the file. It'll finish and warn you about containing an application, say "ok" to open it.
2. A window will appear with the Messenger icon in it.
3. Click the Mac face icon in the dock to open a Finder window.
4. Click "Applications" in the...
Ditto!
I've just upgraded my 40gb to an 80gb as I had too much to fit on it.
I do wish they'd do the brush metal finish though like the new Nanos and old Minis. Much more durable than the mirror backed ones.
Change your backslashes to forward slashes.
IE is converting them but other browsers won't.

Re: trying to get my head around CSS!! AAARRRRGH!!!!!
alt attributes (not tags) are alternative text for screen readers and non-visual browsers. It should be a short description of the image.
You should have alt attributes for all images and as stated, make them blank for presentational...
I think if you're using IE you'll need to add a DTD for that to work, add this as the first thing in your page:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
You need a width for the body or it assumes 100% which means it can't centre...
Oh yes!
What about Guttermouth - I'm Destroying The World. Was only 1.59 long so had it on repeat all the time :D
Also The Ramones - Blitzkreig Bop (with "shoot" censored out for some reason?)
Ok, fair point, but my defense mechanisms are up because a) you're slating without reason my computer of choice, and b) you're personally insulting me by stating "designers are stupid" or however it was phrased.
Im my experience there are two types of people who claim to be good, those that...
If you mean 24bit with 8bit alpha transparancy, then it isn't supported below IE7 unless you employ the proprietary DXImageTransform filter.
If you feed your CSS to IE using conditional comments then it will still validate too.
Other IE problems only affect older versions - varying...
How do you do that? I didn't realise you could, cos it would really help me out if it's possible.
As for ignorance, aren't you the guy who thought pngs didn't work in Internet Explorer? A fair mistake to make if you're uninformed I guess. Just don't give up the day job for a career in web...
On Windows can you...
Drag an image from a website straight into your graphics app (without copy+paste)? No.
Grab a selection of the screen and copy to buffer or straight to a file (with no additional software)? No.
Use the colour picker to select a colour on a website or part of a running...
Why would Lowry Images use them? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/click_online/3945149.stm
If PCs are cheaper and faster then it doesn't make sense? The same for millions of graphic designers and musicians.
Carry on, your ignorance amuses me ;)
Yes they are, just not with alpha channel transparency unless you apply IE's proprietary DXImageTransform AlphaImageLoader filter. ;)
However your CSS will no longer validate so it's best to feed IE specific CSS using conditional comments.
They are made to order and come from Germany, so a few weeks. Think mine took six as I ordered them just before Christmas and things wind down at the factory.
Yes! I got mine from there. Very happy indeed with the service. Had a good long chat to one of the owners of the company on the phone and came to an arrangement where I got discount on the seats in return for advertising on my site.
If you speak to Stephen Swann and say Adrian from...
They are from a 4 door so be aware they won't tilt! (You can also clearly see there is no tilt handle where there should be).
They look like the retail ones in Dinamica black and Jersey black-silver, but I suspect that they are specific to Honda.
Your best bet is to drop these folks a line and...
Depends on the seats - if they are aftermarket ones then you'll need to buy the relevant Recaro subframes for them - these act as adaptors between your original Renault sliding runners and the Recaro seats.
If they are OEM ones then Recaro deliberately make these harder to fit by ensuring that...
I've got an Intel Mac Mini at work and a G4 at home. I enjoy using them both more than any PCs I've used. Sure things go wrong from time to time, but that's unavoidable with anything as complex as a computer. They certainly seem to be a lot more stable than Windows PCs (for what I'm doing at...
Trophy subframes are a mix of the original 182 subframes and Recaro style ones made by Renault. They won't fit the standard 182 seats, only Recaros.
The actual Clio subframes from Recaro are about 10mm lower than the trophy ones, as seen here:
