My old 172 did this. Always started 2nd time so never saw it as an issue, more a quirk. Would always start 1st time if it was warm though.
Good luck diagnosing.
I find that to get into the 30's mpg wise on short journeys (my commute is 5 miles each way on all A and B roads) I literally can't use the accelerator. My norm is about 22-23mpg and on motoroways I can get 35 with cruise set to 70mph. It's certainly not going to win any economy runs!
Totally...
They called me directly. My favourite part is when they say "just need to confirm with my manager". 100% mute the phone then count to 30 then say "my manager said it's ok". Jokers.
Fastest download speed I can get is 15mb (I'm very rural) but if I was in an urban environment it would be the c.50mb package...just to add, it's also unlimited downloads. £35 isn't bad for a fully loaded Sky Q TV subscription.
I thought the same!
I'm £28 pcm (12m contract) for fibre broadband and their basic channel package with the HD box. Not fussed about movies / sports etc. Thought that was ok.
Ha! You can heel/toe, you'll be fine! The pops if you flat shift are petty epic. Pretty sure there's a vid from the skid pan day of mine on t'other forum.
So what are you getting mpg wise and how many miles to a tank? 1,200 miles I would guess is 4 trips to the watering hole? I thought the same on the fuel light when it first came on. I was thinking "but I've got so much left", well you don't!
Recommendation from ford for best launch is drop the clutch (when I did it I depressed the clutch with my toes then moved my foot down and let the clutch pedal spring back) and flat shift into 2nd. When testing the original setup, they apparently did 30 launches in a row with no adverse issues...
100% agree. The metallic rasp is one of the best things about them. I drove one through the Italian mountains to Switzerland. Through the tunnels it was amazing!
