Sat in the traffic jam on the Hagley road, passing the new Morrisons they're currently constructing. Around 6.28 this evening!
I was watching the building site!!
I'm sure I read somewhere that the wee lad has an UR 200 on order, but I'm not entirely sure TBH. Either way, he seems to be wanting to see pictures of nicely loaded 200s, so I ran an oily rag over mine today and took a few pictures. Any excuse. :o
I know, the centre caps are still...
Those of you who've been on here a while will know that I've had a run of Renaultsport Clios, and even though I've been very quiet on here lately, that's not changed.
I won't go in to the long winded boring story, but surfice to say, a missed call from a Honda salesman meant I bought a new...

I spent Saturday and Sunday at the Historic Festival at Donington Park.
The highlight for me were the Group C and 72-85 Touring cars.
The galleries from the two days are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rodstreet/collections/72157626619115816/
A few of my favourites...
My first outing with the 7d, and a real baptism of fire. There's nothing like freezing your arse off trying to shoot fast moving rally cars in really bad light.
The camera is f*****g awesome, and allowed me to take pictures my old 350d wouldn't have stood a chance of getting.
I'd appreciate...
Jessops are never the cheapest place in the world, but that's a hell of a price difference. Is there something I'm missing?

I can't decide. Help.
Specs wise there's very, little in it, but I'm leaning towards the 7D due to the 8fps continous shooting.
Anyone care to thrown any thoughts or suggestions in?
I'm tempted to pop in and grab one on the way home tonight. I'm getting a bit sick of trying to drive while reading a sheet of paper, and it's hardly safe, so I figure it might come in handy.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't grab the cheapest TomTom unit? It won't get a great deal of use...
Not great, as the new layout means there's a sodding great fence in the way of the hospitality balcony!

What an amazing weekend.
I was up at 3 am Friday morning to fly out from Heathrow, arriving in Belgium around 10am. After collecting are rubbish Citreon Berlingo hire car and a satnav we headed off to the circuit. As usual we got to park right be the entrance in the media car park and...
Not many car ones really, as Silverstone is the worst track in the UK for finding somewhere without a fence!
I was lucky enough to have a 3 day paddock pass so I spent a lot of my time in hospitality with Red Bull, Force India and McLaren. I also got a couple of garage tours with STR and Force...
My usual Goodwood photos. Some of them are okay, but not my best effort.

That'll do, the rest are in the link at the top.
Has anyone else noticed how much more data the 4 seems to receive over the previous models? In 16 months my 3G received 3.5gb in total iirc. My 4 has already done 60mb in one day, and it's not like I've done anything different on it.
I did notice the amazing image quality in google maps, so...
