I just came on to ask the same question... I now have the option to change from Virgin to Sky saving a significant amount of money on the total package of tv/broadband/phone.
Anyone else had any issues with Sky broadband??
I actually really like it in white (still think it's too big though) - but it just seems too expensive still given they've taken all the toys off and the stuff I'd want to put back on would just bump it up even more.
Living in London, I'm more likely to get mugged for it than resell it so I got my name and DOB on it.
I'm not one for keep buying the latest things anyway so I'll keep it till it breaks probably.
Do you have to back everything up first or is that just in case? :S
Ta Rich, sounds simple enough for me then! I will do that same type of install and back up photos/music first.
I got about 24k out of my fronts and that included some track days.
Realised once I'd put the new ones on though I probably should have done it a bit sooner!
It's cable - I don't have a BT phone line either - just got the cable tv/broadband/landline package. It is unlimited downloads too.
It's with Virgin.
Steve - can't get Sky on the flats.
I tried ringing to cancel - I ended up in an argument with some pedantic bloke, cancelled the whole tv...
I mainly surf and download music, photos, email etc - looking to save a bit of cash, would it be much of a noticeable difference going down to 2mb from 4mb??
