Re: Project Log - Ph1 Flame Red 172 *UPDATE March 2011*
Good update. I'll dig out the spare DJW calipers from the shed.
It's a start anyway. At this rate it'll be ready for 2020
EDIT: Buy these...
It does. Gift me some. ;)
Yeah is goes ok really, for what it is.
I know, its shockingly high really. And no it'll probably go lowering again, once the other issues have been sorted.
Update:
Been running her daily now for a month, pretty hardcore really, but awesome fun. Spotted more bodges/problems but nothing that stops it running about.
Fitted a O2 sensor which has cured the running issues and has it driving pretty nice, not as fast as the flamer but not one of the...
Found a store on ebay that seems to do them cheaper than any where i've looked so far. Will have a look at ecp and on the powerflex sites before ordering. Cheers guys.
Dude no time to get that out yet. Loads of weight still to be lost, but got a few more important things to do first.
Forgot to say thanks to Gaz85 for donating his cup shocks and springs, looking forward to it looking like a tractor.
Just wondering the best (read cheapest) place to get these from??
Saw these on Kam racing

Do cliosport members get discount any where?
Cheers Guys.
A few update pics so people can see the state she's in.
And a interior shot
Hours spent: 8.5
Money spent: £193
Weight lost: Most interior parts, weight TBC.
Little Update on this.
Taxed her as of the 1st of Oct to use as a daily/track/fast road car, its pretty hardcore. Its still not running 100% and i'm getting a P0130 fault code, O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1, so i'll look into changing that and hopefully that'll sort out the wee flat spot i'm...
Like the mods you've done. Keeping it simple. Not sure on the suspension spacing, usually a choice of 2 from what i remember.
Drop it like its luke warm.
Looks great. I love a bit stripped out Ph1 action, although everyone elses seem to move on alot quicker than mines is. (I B getting my finger out soon though )
Re: Project Log - Ph1 Flame Red 172 *UPDATE March 2011*
Sounds good kid. I'm sacred to write a to do for chav. But once i've done a bit testing i'll put pen to paper and see what she needs done.
Not much been happening in the way of progress with chav. Picked up a set of front calipers for free, so looking to give these a refurb and pop them on along with some braded lines and some fresh fluid.
Repaired a wiring fault in the O2 wiring, so hoping that'll remove the management light...
