Not again. I sold the flamer back to Djw John after owning it for 2 full years, the longest i've owned a car. I Sold up as the little ones car seat didn't fit in and i wasn't really using it for the last 6 months i had it, i also wanted to change scenes after being into clios for 8 years...
Bashed on and did some more work to get her ready for mot, swapped the rear turbines for the other 2 steels, added the wheel trims, Put the front bumper, lights, grill on and to finish put on the new rear lights. Gave her a quick hose down too. I'm pretty happy with how it looks, still more to...
Got John to fit up the front brakes (I hate doing brakes with a passion) did a brake fluid change and bam shes on her wheels.
Only on the 2 turbines as John's nicked the other 2 whilst getting his tyres changed.
Gotta get the rest refitted, fix 2 water leaks then get her up for test.
I used a towing dolly to move my standard mk2 golf, when putting it on the wheels did sit very low into the mouth of the frame causing the staps to damage the bumper when tightening up. You'd also need a yellow flashing light and a number plate board, but i'm sure you already knew that...
