Pretty sure im 54mm bolt space as ive had shocks on my silver 172 and the 182. Also there are 172 cup rears and 182 rears listed, whats the difference ?

Thinking of buying some new shocks fot the front and rear on my white shell im building as it appears to have standard 182 shocks with lowering springs . I see people fit Cup shocks , is there any difference in 172 cup and 182 shocks ? My 182 is a non cup chassis

I Thats who i use i can measure certian ones tomorrow if i remove them , i was hoping somebody has been anal and done a list . I think tomoteks was for the subframes , beams etc but can have a check.

Can anyone help with bolt sizes , length and pitch looking to reolace various pink bolts and others . Upper inlet M6 X 25MM ? Upper cambelt cover ? Engine mount and nut ? Thermostat housing all ? Upper gearbox nut and bolts and spider mount ?

My red track car has heater matrix removed so assuming i need to buy some hoses to create a u as no matrix. What have people bought and done ? Do i need to do anyb5ing elsle ?

This is how ive left it for today , manifold bolts have been removed and all fluids drained. Will remove driveshafts , hubs and front suspension tommorow.

Alternator kit removed , and PAS reservoir drained and removed. Wiring loom tucked to one side and ECU and brackets removed.

Blue hose kit removed , Will give this a clean up prior to selling.

Front slam panel removed , just going to get as much out or out the way. Radiator and hose kit removed. Powder coat doesnt look so bad in the pics but it is starting to deteriorate. Got epas on the red shell so will have a power steering pump for sale which has done less than 500 miles ! Car...

What have people used and done ? I want to paint under the arches white. Its currently the factory silver finish , have people just directly sprayed or painted or have used a pimer then paint ? Looking for a smoothish finish

I wasnt sure as ive just bolted it in for now. I need to fit the trackrods and front hubs then i will know exactly where it is. Was just curious if there was a specific method as ive nevere messed with steering racks

Whats the best way to get it all centered , ive got it fitted to the subframe but need to fit column then fit track rods and ends.

Brought the track wheels from mine so i can get the car rolling and out the garage soon as i am striggling for space in there !

Got Epas rack fitted , front arms and the front roll bar , forgot how much of a t**t they are to fit ! Need to get abs delete kit bought and get that fitted before engine and gearbox gets fitted

Finally got the other bits back from powder coating.

Biggest problem is lack of bolts , previous owner ripped the car apart so missing lots of parts and bolts. I know the 3 are the centre bearing suppprt for driveshaft. Are any of these for gearbox ? Engine is on the stand at my parents house with gearbox at the moment but have been searching...

I was hoping i would have had engine and gearbox in by now ! Dropped off the subframe 29th october and got it back lastnight ! Not ideal ! Need to get it rolling then attach flywheel , clutch and gearbox.
