Mine is still in use as a daily for the Mrs to get to work.
Trying to convince her to drive to work with a cage. And changed my mind after selling my diff and want another. Then just the PMS brace & top mounts and rear ARB to fit.
I've asked James Stone the other night if he intended to make any more, which he confirmed he isn't at the moment.
So I asked him to make one more batch of RS2s on the condition I can sell all 5 and hand him 5 deposits before he spends his time on the project. Sadly, he hasn't responded.
Service history was patchy last time I saw it. He's told me the belts were done. It's so close to ClioTurbo, rather than messing around, I'd get it to them, get the belts & MOT done and collect it the following week.
I believe it was Tom rather than James who was going to remake them. I'm trying to find out what the situation is there as obviously Tom is not replying to emails from the new website.
Get the engine to a specialist, without it being in the car the job will be easier and therefore labour is less. Whilst with the specialist ask about fitting engine to car.
Remove car from garage it is with and take it to specialist.
Enjoy trouble free motoring.
Or, fit engine to car as is by...
Good Cups are worth it, I did 9 hours, roundtrip, to see this one and another in the north, then the next day 5 hours to Bristol and back!
Be a shame if the owner has ruined it. I do remember that it needed the mounts adjusting as the whole car was vibrating from them.
I drove this last year when looking for my Cup, it belonged to @CuppyDean and had only done 57k.
I don't know why I didn't buy it and I ended up with my sheddy Cup!

Worth a look if you're on the...
I used to have a caged throttle bodied MI16 205, we did hour upon hour in that car. I guess I'm getting old!
Trailer will mean I'm able to go a little more hardcore with the Clio and remove that "oh it might break" thought that comes when you see others being recovered.
As I own a decent tow car, I'm going to invest in a trailer.
Means when I'm doing a couple of hours to a track I can have a/c and comfort rather than arriving with a headache and backpain!
Guy broke down on trackday I was on last week, AA refused to tow him home as it was private property! Despite their cover T&Cs saying they'll recover from track days, their T&Cs allow them to refuse recovery unless you can provide express permission for them to enter the private property.
A few of us are doing Bedford on 14th November. I've crashed at Bedford at 90mph, going way off the track and not hit anything. Don't try that a Oulton!
I've got a 172 Cup, it's got Toyo 888s, solid engine mounts, cooksports, all new front suspension & bushes, DS2500s with good fluid and has...
I got a specialist to get mine, but I assume you can get it with your V5c.
I've bought two keys off eBay and hope to have them programmed in the next few weeks. Although, it's been 4 months since they got the code!
@cliosportap - Doesn't explain your shody packaging that meant those that spent £850 on this then have damaged units.
Your post doesn't explain why those who have spent £850 on this then had to redrill them to fit their engine.
Or why you didn't realise there was different coil pack mounts...
