Talking of tuning etc, Grove Garage was fairly local to me (but I didn't know it was that place at the time) I was walking down the road one Saturday afternoon, saw the gates to a random car garage place were open so I looked in and saw the whale tails of about twenty Escort Cosworth's in there...
That's cool, but sad that it got nicked! :(
I remember when I was about seven or eight, my dad took me to work one day to see his bosses three door, and his three door race car, which he used to race against Mike Smith the DJ. My dad worked for Brown & Geeson who sold Momo steering wheels and...
Years ago I came close to buying K51 NTR which was one of the silver ones. I'd had seen a small picture of it in a Ford mag at a rolling road day and a Ford worker owned it and it was standard. A while later I saw it for sale and he'd sold to a dude a year or so younger than me. I'd always say...
I've got one of those by work which actually has the full lettering of CLK 63 on the left, an AMG on the right of the boot. It has those wheels too. It's a f**king 1.8
Hi,
I saw the back end of your car yesterday as you were leaving the retail park and I was walking to the car. I was not in a Clio so you'd not have spotted me.
Are you on here?
I had a Phase 2 16v in 2001, I went from a 1.1 Mk2 Fiesta I'd driven for a couple of years. The Clio felt like a rocket ship!
I only came to get one as I'd got fed up of looking for a non shagged 90 spec ERST or a FRST that wasn't rusty and thrashed. I'd always see a red J reg Phase 1 16v in...
I saw a split windscreen one of these earlier. It sounded great and it was clean! So clean that before I could hear it I thought it had been converted to electric but it hadn't.
Cheers :)
I'll get searching for one. Hopefully it will be easy to get one. It has some chips and has started to delaminate in the bottom corners. It looks ok at first glance, but bugs me!
I'll get a new screen surround kit too :)
I watched it to see that and you were right.
I watched this one to see how he' d written it off as I don't remember that. It was a click bait BS title as because it needed a full respray that effectively meant that it was a write off. Okaayyy then!!!
I saw that, but have seen it before. He said that he's just pieced his old videos together and pit them on a new / second channel. I still gave it a watch. I like his channel :)
Yeah I'm not a fan of him.
I remember they put out a video where they said he'd lost ninety grand on cars and acted like it was funny. He's on an automotive YouTube channel FFS!!
Got any pictures of with the plates on? did you go with the original dealers name etc on the bottom of them? (I guess I'll see that once you show them)
Looking good mate! (I've not been on here for ages & wasn't sure if you still had it!)
My radio surround has gone like that too, and the tunnel cover is a bit sticky. Mine's currently in hibernation, but once I get it back out again (sometime) I'm going to get those bits done.
My old mate had a 4" Powerflow stuffed out the back of his. You could hear him coming about two miles away. Poor car was virtually new too!
He had that put on and an induction kit, gave it death everywhere even from cold and basically fucked it up.
