People have in the past had the 172/182 bumper fitted with the standard wings. It needs a bit of work I believe but certainly looks better than spacers which never quite look right. Worth a look at some older projects and doing that.
As I’m in the market for a car I’ve just used vcheck.uk. Amazing site and great to see my potential purchase is clear. Only did the cheap one as the garage have done a hpi but wanted a better check myself. Thanks @Arnie great service and brilliant clear site.
@Ryan200EDC can I ask a few questions, as I’m thinking of finally biting the bullet on one.
What mpg do you get on mway and a roads, what is it like daily, are the seats comfy, and are the headlights decent?
my last two 172’s were had for £800 and £650 respectively. Admittedly the first one was 5 years ago, but it had turinis, a nice exhaust and an maxogen carbon kit! Couldn’t sell it when I tried to, no one wanted it! Wish I’d kept it.
Very nice mate. Do love these especially as you don’t see that many around. Was hoping the prices would’ve dropped to my level by now but they still hold value.
Really good to see another being saved and not ripped apart for bits! Congrats on the mot too, nice and easy!
regarding the speedo sensor as Alistair said it’s a simple job, I fitted one while waiting for my daughter to finish dance class.
look forward to seeing the progress you make with it!
looks very nice mate. Loook forward to the progress you make, definitely get a build thread up. I miss my petrol blue, absolutely loved the colour in different lights!
Maybe a stupid question, but I have a karcher washer, and notice that most detainers use those little coloured nozzles on the end of the handgun instead of fitting the supplied lances. Is there any benefit to them with my novice cleaning? Are they better for spraying the car?
