I have 2 years NCB, I am 21 (I was 20 at the time of the quote) got 1 female named driver and a very good postcode, still comes to 1.8k and that's cheaper than comparison sites.
It's 120Mb, last year I had 100Mb, that was ridiculous, it was genuinely properly fast all of the time until some idiots pulled our cable out of the cabinet across the road
My parents 13Mb BT internet is by far the most trouble free internet connection I have used, it just never goes...
Virgin is good when it works, but there is no other ISP in my area that can provide a speed to suit a house with 7 students, 14Mb DSL and skype causes the whole internet to stop.
If the signal (bars) are not at full strength your phone will be looking for a signal all the time, it is why phones go flat quicker in night clubs as they don't typically have good signal strength in them.

My background is a bit sad but meh.
For occasional track use standard is best unless you are prepared to pay big money.
I am on completely stock suspension and it isn't too much off cars with coilovers.
My advice is, fit eibach camber bolts and good brakes, you will have just as much fun as others who have spent thousands do.
If you don't have a wired connection available cable/fiber or dsl/telephone, then a dongle is your only option, seeing as you work for a phone company I imagine you can get a good deal on that ;)
