i think your doing the right thing if your thinking of selling it now- Its to high mileage to be classed as a collectors vehicle & most people want the newest plate they can buy - ( even mine on 32k Miles is considered at the higher end which is why I have restricted it to 33k before sale.

Check the belt history. 7k will soon become 9k if its due. ( Scott is currently ~1.6k-1.7k with Aux belt kit being done as opposed to Aux belt only)
Sell all the dodgy bits on it & store it.
it is a nice car, however it will be 4k OTR - by the time you have done the belts + Dephaser + TAX & theres bound to be a couple of little bits else need doing then its probably bang on. not really a Bargain, but perhaps good value for money as a ropey 80k Ph1 will swallow up 3k to get nice anyway.
Buy a Ph2 172 Steering wheel.
make sure its in nice condition. - usually the good ones are around £80.
If you want to splash out- buy a shagged out one & send Snappy a PM on here- he will retrim it £160 ISH...
All of the light scratches will come out with a good machine polish, however a lot of the above have gone through the paint & the only solution is touch up or repaint.

when you get the car back ask to go over the car on your own in your own time so you can carefully take your time, if a member of staff is standing over you you will tend to rush-
