Just did some pricing-up.
These aren't bottom-of-the-pile figures, although they're not exactly the best either. They're just to keep price points in line with a sound bar
AV Reciever
Front speakers (Actual cheapest listing, mental, these are great)
Sub (optional but totally worth it)

Vote for legit AV components.
Start with any surround amp and even a pair of bookshelf speakers will be better than a soundbar. (2.0)
Add a sub, another improvement (2.1)
Add centre and rears to taste (5.1)
Looking at the Samsung OP posts. £450 for a bunch of tweeters? It might be better than...
I dunno about that.
A GTX1080i will happily handle the 2x1080p monitors that a VIVE uses (in real terms).
But, well....you go spec up a tower for that. And, you know what, may as well SLI 2 of those cards so you can still play the latest VR in a years time

Still no MX5?
Very, very disappoint. Surely its the staple of Track days, more so than a "2015 HONDA 2&4 CONCEPT". The Radbul MX5 thing can GTFO. I want a stock NA/B 1.8.
I get that it's probably a niche request amongst the "hardcore" racing gamers, but come oonnnnnn.
GT2, with the full...
Those Porsche centre caps are triggering.
Get some Renault badges in there, to my eyes it just says "My other car isn't a porsche, but I could afford the wheels!".
Otherwise, nice estate
lol at "has no heritage".
ffs, the company has only been making cars since 1975, and look how far they've come!
Anyone who drives a Renault and wants to argue about build quality, they need to wind that neck right in.
I'd have one of those over a Clio, Golf or Focus, no mistake.
Well, it's your money.
Yes, superchargers are a thing, @Cub. has/had a 172 with a supercharger and it was entirely superb.
Different, yes. Interesting, yes. Rarer, yes. Dat sound? awwwww yeaaaaaah
£-for-£ they're not as outright powerful, I'm led to believe.
If that's the case, don't even start looking up the costs of trying to screw any meaning power out of what you have now. It really will be like burning fistfuls of £50 notes. Pretty sure that a turbo set-up, installed, mapped, and reliably working, is going to be sharp end of £3000.
Should have...
Get on ebay and you'll probably find a 1/2 dozen other ex-CS Clios that have had most this done already, they pass through here on an almost bi-monthly basis.
You might need to pull out some carpet, or remove some "tasteful" mods for someones ex road/track 'weapon', but better that than...
You're going to pour how much money into this?
Before you go any further, just look at the prices of Clio RS 197's and 200's, then weigh up the time/money/faff//breakdown probability of an aftermarket turbo install -v- a factory-quick vehicle.
And if insurance is a problem, then stuff your 1.6...
The "5k kick" is a myth anyway.
Can't think why a remap would sit the idle that high either, unless it's had a a lightened flywheel and/or more aggressive cams.
I had a battery replacement in a 5, not by apple, I must add.
And it was fine for about a month, but then the volume buttons started crapping out, then the battery wouldn't hold a charge. It didn't go well.
re: 7 over 6s, depends if you like using headphones or aux-out cables, because with the...
Also valid, the battery would have to be something impressive if VIVE went wireless. That alongside the wifi bandwidth to do 2x 1080p screens.
Alternatively, you get one of those backpack PC's, but then how long can you play those before you end up with 3rd degree burns on your back? Still got...
