ADSL will use BT's network. LLU (local loop unbundling) is where BT lets other ISP's use their network (because of Ofcom saying BT has to allow competitors to use its network so they can compete!).
Anyways, you must be far from your exchange mate, not much you can do right now on ADSL then...
Hey matey,
Don't get me wrong, I really want an iPhone, but something keeps nudging me towards a Storm. I just can't decide and its bugging the hell out of me!!
Its like, if I get one, I lose out on something, and if I get the other, same story. So annoying!!!

iPhone FTW.
iPhone Cons:
- Just a 2MP camera with no autofocus and no flash.

iPhone Cons:
- Just a 2MP...

Signal depends on your aerial mate, not the box... as it does with all freeview boxes. My BT Vision signal is perfect - I have a roof mounted aerial.

What I do is, I reset the trip distance every time I fill up. I then drive and drive till the empty light comes on. Flick over to distance remaining (about 49 miles usually) and then flick over to trip distance covered and add on 49...
I was a beta tester for BT Vision (as I work for BT) and I can honestly say it is pretty good as a Tivo type box! Sure, its got lots of add-ons etc like channel subscription, on demand content etc, not bad and it will make a good freeview box that has recording functionality like Sky+.
Setanta...
