Well the head went off to the specialist this weekend and we're adding the 1.9 cam :) It does need a LOT of work but I've spoken to a company that I've used before who said it will be possible for between £850-1100. That's a full respray and all repairs which I think is pretty good...

In that case your figures weren't majorly bad. The majority of the 182's at our recent dyno day made high 150's low 160's (mine made 164 ATH) admittedly with matched inlets and a map you should have maybe got a few more but that might be lost through using a different dyno. Once the 10-12%...

I'm confused did you put it on a hub mounted dyno or just a roll on/roll off?

Crikey and I thought ours needed work lol! That's the way it's done though :) Going to paint the inlet manifold when I get home from work tonight and then over the weekend I might give the boot a go...a few rust patches unfortunately so needs to be rubbed down and sprayed up to look presentable.

Everything has been split between the two of us. I'm enjoying it so far! For some reason I just want to throw money at it and get it up and running! I've seen enough sandpaper, valves and cylinder head parts in the last few weeks than I think I ever will lol!

Looks much better although (as much as you won't like it) I'd agree that you need to lose the stickers. I'd definitely get rid of the elf sticker and if you like the new CS one then get the smaller version :). Just my opinion of course.

Haha no don't worry about the dyno - it loves it :cool:! It was due to water in the spark plug wells. Drove it around last night after a strip down and clean up and seemed fine so should be all good for the weekend :)
